The Silent University is a knowledge and skill-sharing platform initiated by DF resident Ahmet Öğüt and Tate in collaboration with asylum seekers and refugees. The programme includes short courses on topics from Arabic calligraphy to business skills, performances, discussions and a resource room.

DF hosts Ibraaz as they announce a publishing deal with I B Tauris which will see an edited series of books on contemporary visual culture from North Africa and the Middle East. The event also celebrates the launch of Ibraaz Platform 004.
