Fwd: I Love Contemporary Art | Children's Workshop

Children's Workshop

Chidren's workshop

Foundation for Indian Contemporary Art (FICA) and Flow India present 'I Love Contemporary Art'

Let your child discover and explore the most cutting-edge artworks in India today with Ideas of the Sublime, a special exhibition at the Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi, which is being organized by Vadehra Art Gallery, New Delhi.

Presenting never-seen-before works by 17 of India's most influential contemporary artists. This special workshop will focus on how art inspires feelings of awe and wonder in us. Through child-centred discussion and exploration we'll work out how different  artworks make us feel and why, and then create our own artwork keeping these ideas in mind.

We will discover different mediums from sculptural installations to video art to painting and understand how they are used to tell stories and draw attention to the world around us. By exploring and developing our own emotional responses to the artworks we will delve into the minds of the artists and try to fully understand the works, while at the same time learn to express ourselves.

The emphasis will be on interaction and fun throughout ensuring kids have a lively and memorable time!
