Hello,
Our Harun Farocki season has been a massive success. Over the last couple of months, we've brought you a full retrospective of the respected German filmmaker's work from the last 30 years - much of it showing in the UK for the first time.
To finish the season, we're offering a treat. Harocki's masterpiece, at Tate, for free.
This Sunday, at 15.00 in Tate Modern's Starr Auditorium, Farocki's spectacular "Videograms of a Revolution" watches the Romanian revolution unfold across ten days in December 1989. Assembled from 125 hours of news, official and home movie footage, the film leaps back and forward within the revolution, showing the transition from Communist control to democratic freedom and the relationship between film and history. It's a stunning achievement.
The film is free (on a first-come-first-seated basis). There aren't any advance tickets, so be sure to arrive early.

We look forward to seeing you at the screenings.
