1
dear designboom reader,

february 14 is valentines day in the west, but in most countries of the east it is lunar new year.
we enter the year not only of the tiger, but of the white, or metal tiger, something that occurs
only once ever 60 years in the chinese calendar, associated with massive change and challenges...
if you believe in planatary influences and chinese horoscope -
or not, it seems to be a good time to start a new major and important project.

designboom is curating for this year's 'dwell on design' event in los angeles,
june 25 -27, 2010, a non profit cultural group exhibition entitled
'asia now: exploring design culture'.

we are now selecting the most relevant examples of current design production.
if you wish to take part in this exhibition, please let us know
thanks for reading us
birgit
